Pinehurst North Carolina Golf Communities

Country Club of North Carolina
CCNC is best known for its outstanding golf courses.  The Dogwood course opened in 1963 and has been the venue for many championship events including three Carolinas Amateurs, six Southern Amateurs and the 1980 USGA Amateur.  Nine holes of the Cardinal course opened in 1970, with the second nine completed in 1981.  Both courses are ranked in the top 15 in North Carolina.

The Fairwoods on 7
Pinehurst Resort - The Fairwoods on Pinehurst No. 7 is ranked 37 in the Top 100 NC golf courses, Old bunkers from an abandoned employee's course, built by Donald Ross, inspired Rees Jones' design for No. 7. Every hole features something to test your game, including a number of uphill shots followed by narrow valleys that require power and precision. The last four holes make for a finish as strong as you'll find anywhere.

Our convenient location affords easy access to Raleigh and the Raleigh Durham International Airport. Employment and amenities within the Research Triangle are readily accessible.

Southern Pines Country Club
The Southern Pines Golf and Country Club is owned by the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, Lodge 1692.  Routed over rolling terrain, it can be challenging for golfers of every skill level.  As a classic layout, there are few forced carries of any great length, and many greens are open in front to allow for the bump-and-run style that was characteristic when the course was built in 1923.  As a mature course, Southern Pines Golf and Country Club is especially lovely in the Spring when the azaleas and dogwoods are in full bloom.  Traditionally routed at the time, it has a lovely half-way house at the junction of several holes.  Plans are afoot to restore many of the original features of the course that were lost over time through previous "reworkings." This project will include total fairway re-seeding, bunker restoration, and green structuring.

Beacon Ridge
Located just minutes from the beautiful Village of Pinehurst, North Carolina, Beacon Ridge Golf & Country Club was designed by renowned course architect Gene Hamm. One of the prettiest and well manicured golf courses in the Sandhills region of North Carolina, Beacon Ridge is a favorite with locals as well as the numerous golf visitors, the Pinehurst area attracts each year.

Longleaf
Longleaf Golf& Country Club is an 18-hole Dan Maples designed course that offers every golfer an exceptional experience. Located off of historic Midland Road in Southern Pines, Longleaf Golf& Country Club has been called the 'Most playable course in the Sandhills' by Ron Witten from Golf Digest.

The Carolina
Designed by Arnold Palmer and listed as a #1 East Coast Golf Destination by Golf Digest for 2000, a round at The Carolina will bring you back in time to the traditions of leisure for which Sandhills resorts have been noted for over a century. The classic layout and routing creates many memorable holes on this championship course. Host to state and local amateur tournaments, The Carolina retains some stature as a hidden gem in the Pinehurst area as it lays adjacent to the Moore County airport approximately 3 miles north of Pinehurst Village.

Foxfire Resort
For nearly 40 years the courses at Foxfire have hosted thousands of golfers from all over this fine nation and the world. The rolling hills, soft sandy soils, and plentiful lakes enabled Hall of Fame architect Gene Hamm to design 36 beautiful holes. A traditional layout where most of the trouble is in plain sight provides a playable challenge for all levels of golfers. Both the East and West courses greet golfers with green fairways year round, strategically located bunkers and towering long leaf pines.
